Animal Axes are an UNCOMMON type of Axe that can be purchased from Jake for 1,000 coins when the associated animal is brought to him.

Each Axe increases drops from their associated animal by two. This doesn't affect non-stackable items.

Trivia

• The axes are effectively equivalent to Looting XX if such a level were to exist, but limited to common drops on their respective mobs, and with the difference that for affected drops below 100% chance (such as  Eggs), it is still the drop amount that is increased, not the drop chance.
• The axes also work on corresponding sea creatures like Oasis Sheep, Rider of the Deep, and Carrot King, multiplying their common drops by 3, but not including  Dark Baits, Lucky Clover Cores, and  Phoenix Pets.
• The axes also multiply drops from uncommon loot.
• The axes doesn't work on corrupted mobs.
• The runes dropped from runic versions of mobs are also increased.
• Although these axes are intended for killing mobs, they are not categorized as Swords and cannot have enchantments raising damage output.
  • The axes can still have  Hot Potato Books,  Fuming Potato Books, and several reforges giving ❁ Strength or ☠ Crit Damage.
