Barry the Wizard was a mayoral candidate. Their perks focused around  Enchanting and  Alchemy.

Mayoral Perks

Candidate Barry may run for election with any of the 3 possible perks listed below. This candidate can offer 1 perk up to all possible perks. When this candidate is elected, the next time they join an election, they will run with 1 random perk. If they lost, the next time they join an election, unless they already offer all possible perks, they will have a 45% chance to gain 1 more random perk.

       Secret Bonus: Gain +1 ✯ Magic Find for every year that Barry has not been elected (max 20)
    3. Magic XP Boost: Gain +15 ☯ Alchemy Wisdom and ☯ Enchanting Wisdom.
       Secret Bonus: Gain +2 Clicks in Superpairs Experiments

The perk "Astral Negotiator" mentioned "Enchanting" in general. It did not affect the  Experimentation Table.

Dialogue

The color of the NPC's name changes depending on which color they are in the current Mayor Election. Yellow has been used as a default color.

Trivia

• His lines "Vote for me, you will" and "Powerful wizard, I am." are likely a reference to the way Yoda talks in the Star Wars franchise.
• He had been elected on the Alpha Server more than once before his first time in office on the Main Server.
• He helped to design the Starlight Armor and Starlight Wand, as seen in Rosetta's UI.
• On the 101st Mayor Election (for Mayor of Year 189):
  • Barry was elected for the first time.
    • Of all regular candidates, Barry was the last one to have been elected for the first time.
  • Some popular streamers and YouTubers decided to convince people to vote for Barry. Combined with other mayors having unfavorable perks during that election, Barry's voting rate was pushed higher.
  • Barry originally only had one perk in this election, but due to the attention given by the community, 12[ADMIN] Skyerzz responded by changing Barry's perks to all three. This is the first time mayor changed perks during an election.
  • When elected, he revealed three Secret Bonuses on top of the three perks.
• In all elections which Barry won, the Wizard's dialogue changed.
• He has retired from being a mayor and currently is in the Wizard Tower.
• Although Barry was no longer mayor on the Alpha Network as well, he appeared as a mayor in the year 226.
  • When he appeared as a mayor however, it displayed him as having no perks.
  • Also, during the election he was not actually a candidate.
• Although Barry is no longer mayor, his listed perks are still available for Jerry's Perkpocalypse.

Aug 18, 2022	0.14	Although Barry is no longer mayor, Barry's Magic XP Boost perk changed from Gain 15% more  Enchanting and  Alchemy XP to Gain +15 ☯ Alchemy Wisdom and ☯ Enchanting Wisdom. This was revealed during Candidate Jerry/Perkpocalypse/Year 233.
