The Bat Pet is a craftable  Mining Pet unlocked at Mushroom IX. To craft it, it requires 64 Enchanted Brown Mushrooms and an Enchanted Egg or a Super Enchanted Egg. It reveals its Rarity after crafting it, like most pets. This pet is highly recommended if the player wants to increase ✦ Speed as it can provide up to a +55 boost in it during the night but only +5 during the day.

It is also highly recommended for the Spooky Festival as its Candy Lover ability increases the chance of mobs dropping candy for up to 10% at COMMON; 15% at UNCOMMON and RARE; and 20% at EPIC, LEGENDARY and MYTHIC. At LEGENDARY and MYTHIC rarity, its Wings of Steel ability will increase the damage dealt to Spooky Mobs by up to 50%. Bat Person Armor is commonly paired with this pet to maximize the chance of candy dropping.

A Vampire Fang is required by Kat to upgrade the Bat Pet from LEGENDARY to MYTHIC, adding up to 5 α Sea Creature Chance as well as a new perk, Sonar. This new perk is highly recommended for fishing right before and after the Spooky Festival as it increases the Weight of Spooky Sea Creatures during the event by 25%. The MYTHIC rarity of this pet requires the same amount of experience to reach Level 100 as the LEGENDARY rarity.
