The Beacon is a tiered RARE-EPIC block that grants special buffs to players and minions on the island. It is found in Mithril IX (9) Collection and can give effects to the player on all SkyBlock Islands. It can only be placed on the ⏣ Private Island. The amount and intensity of the buffs to both players and minions can be upgraded by increasing the level of the Beacon in ⏣ The Forge.
In order to power the Beacon the player must fuel it with Power Crystals or Scorched Power Crystals, granting 48 hours of power per crystal. Breaking a beacon will cause any fuel to be lost.
The beacon gives a chosen effect to the player on all different SkyBlock Islands.
Before SkyBlock update 0.11.1, the minion buff of the Tier I beacon was actually 20% rather than 2%, and as for Tier II, III, IV and V, it's 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%.
As of the new patch, now beacons gives a minion speed buff respective to its lore.
Contrary to popular belief, unlike Floating Crystals, the minion buff does indeed apply to offline calculations.
