Tips

• The Black Cat Pet is utilized in Dungeons by players seeking efficiency, as the pet gives a sizable increase in ✦ Speed and increases the ✦ Speed cap, which is highly useful in Dungeons as only one potion, including effects that increase the ✦ Speed stat, can be applied during each run, which significantly increases the difficulty of getting higher ✦ Speed inside Dungeons.
• Due to increasing your speed cap by 100 with any armor set, this pet can be paired with the  Warden Helmet to boost its damage by +40% on top of its original bonus.
• The Black Cat Pet is often paired with either Sorrow Armor or any Kuudra armor piece with the Magic Find attribute for higher Magic Find, increasing the odds of rare drops.

Trivia

• Upon release, the Black Cat Pet cost  2,500x Purple Candy, which made it impossible to purchase since a player's inventory is unable to hold that many candies. Upon further release, the Black Cat Pet price was reduced to  2,000x Purple Candy, making it purchasable.
• For a couple months after the Spooky Festival's release, George bought the Black Cat Pet for 20,000,000 coins, which was far more than its material cost, however this stayed in the game for multiple months because of the limited awareness of this exploit.
  • George now buys Black Cat Pets for 5,000,000 coins, which is roughly less than a fourth of its material cost.
• It looks almost identical to the  Cat Talisman with its eyes being more blue than the teal eyes of the  Cat Talisman.
• In game, the Black Cat Pet improves your luck, however, in some places in real life, black cats are associated with bad luck and misfortune.
• This is one of six pets to grant flat ✯ Magic Find, the other pets being the Griffin Pet, Mole Pet, Goblin Pet, Megalodon Pet and the Golden Dragon Pet.
