The Butterfly is a mob that spawns in the ⏣ Fairy Grotto in the ⏣ Crystal Hollows. After being hit, the Butterfly charges at the player, dealing 1000 ❁ Damage on contact.
Butterflies respawn in the same spots at seemingly random intervals.

Trivia[]
- The three Butterfly variants appear to be edited versions of a mosquito made by LyeraHeads.
- Butterflies cannot be teleported to using the
Shadow Fury. - The Bestiary icon of the Butterfly used to be an Iron Golem head, like the Automaton or the Endstone Protector, instead of its own head.
- Killing a Butterfly with the Flower of Truth, Frozen Scythe or Aspect of the Dragons Ability will not apply Auto-pickup, and instead the items will drop where the Butterfly died, as if Telekinesis was not present.
- It also won't count as a kill in the Bestiary.
