Candidate Aura is a mayoral candidate that appeared in the Year 458 Mayor Election.

Mayoral Perks

Most mayors run with up to four unique perks, but Candidate Aura has only been seen with three perks and a note: "*few extra details not worth mentioning."

Candidate Aura may run for election with up to 6 possible perks.

While Mayor Aura's Fundraising perk is active, several additional costs are incurred:

• Sending any message costs 7 coins each time (also applies in Stranded).
• Using Fast Travel costs 2,000 coins each time (except for the Hub, Private Island, and Garden).
• Bazaar tax and Slayer spawn costs are doubled.
• Upgrading pets at Kat costs 50% more coins.
• Certain Dungeon drops have increased cost.

Minion Union

This perk actually reduces minion speed by 33% (Additive).

This perk has been disabled by minister 7[YOUTUBE] im_a_squid_kid.

Work Better

This perk grants +50 ✯ Magic Find and +25 ❃ Tracking globally (except in the Rift). All RNG Meter progress is doubled, and the base drop rate of several items from the Crystal Nucleus and Dungeons is increased.

Work Harder

This perk increases the ❤ Health and ❁ Damage of mobs by 10%.

This perk has been disabled by minister 5[MVP+] Confused_Goon.

Ministers

Main article: Minister Election

Each year, Candidate Aura holds a minister election from Late Spring 30th to Winter 7th, where the SkyBlock community elects their fellow players. Those with the top 7 votes are elected as ministers and get to choose their perks. Ministers who place on the podium, as well as ministers who attempt to remove Aura's perks, cannot be voted for in subsequent elections.

Trivia

• Candidate Aura's actual perks were revealed through the SkyBlock API prior to them being elected.
  • Tablist also shows Aura as having 6 perks.
• The dialogue starts from a random point, but is otherwise always in the same order.
• Candidate Aura has broken the record for most votes received by a candidate in SkyBlock's history, reaching over 1.5m votes on November 28th, 2025.
• Upon initial release, the Work Smarter perk was also granting +50 ✯ Magic Find in the Rift.
• Some candidates were removed after gaining an unfair advantage.
  • 5[MVP+] hannibal2 is the creator of the SkyHanni mod. He was blacklisted from the elections due to hannibal2's name being automatically filled in on behalf of the user, assuming they had not edited their vote.
  • 5[MVP+] duoplurk was blacklisted after a coins giveaway was hosted to bribe votes.
