We are deploying a patch which we will test over the next 1-2 weeks on the Alpha Network.
Upcoming Features[]
The Hex
It's an all-in-one tool to upgrade max out items.
It's available on Alpha in the Hub at (-64, 70, -105).
Bazaar Menu
Enchantment books and trading essence was added to the Bazaar.
Another row was incorporated in the menu, a new category will come to fill it soon.
New items were added for certain functionalities included in The Hex.
Stats Breakdown Menu
The stats menu(s) available where you're used to has been upgraded to show where all of your stats are from.
This menu is still under development and will evolve while on alpha.
New Stats
- 7 Wisdom Stats for different skills, which increase skill XP gain. (For example, Slayer nows grants Combat Wisdom!)
- Fishing Speed
- Health Regen
- Vitality, which boosts incoming healing (good for tanks!)
- Mending, which boosts outgoing healing (good for healers!)
Balancing Changes
Some balancing was implemented on existing content.
A full patch notes will come with the official release.
Shen's Auction
There is a new piece of content for endgame players setup under the Auction House at (-52, 72, -87).
Shen sells cool items in a new type of NPC auction where X top bidders earn the item.
One of the items open up the Regalia Room, which has a shop for more items and rotating cosmetics.
This update introduces a new auctioning system into the backend and thus we suggest heavily testing and trying to break it.
Note 1: Normally, Shen's Auctions will reset every SkyBlock year (around 5 real days) but on Alpha (for the sake of testing), they reset every SkyBlock day! (Around 20 minutes) Note 2: Normally, you must have certain ranks in the Museum to access Shen's Auction but once again for the sake of testing the requirement is removed and all players can access these auctions.
There is a also a change in the build on the End island. This piece of content is unavailable at this time on Alpha.
Backend Changes[]
We've done a refactor (rewrite) of many systems in the game. The goal has been to increase the rate at which we can ship updates.
Systems touched include, but not comprehensive:
- Upgraded Java runtime from 8 to 17! (this can cause bugs in literally everything)
- Moved a lot of stuff from code to JSON data:
- Furniture
- Item Skins
- Pet Skins
- Minion Skins
- Sea Creatures
- Islands data (like resource areas)
- Zones (like NPC locations)
- Objectives
- The Objective system was revamped
- Unified Requirement system (like slayer reqs on items, but across the game...)
- Custom Mobs system
- Feature-toggling system (for example Dojo disabling menus)
- Accessories stacking
- Parkour/Race system
- The Bazaar's client-side (what's on the game server)
A Dev Blog will come post-release regarding the JSON data changes and what it means for the game.
What all these backend changes mean is that bugs may have crept up anywhere in the game. We recommend importing your profile to check if your items/island have unexpected behavior. Then what would be really helpful for us is for you to play 1 hour of SkyBlock as you would normally. Creating new profiles can also find issues nobody would expect!

Slots may be very limited on the Alpha network, if it's unavailable, I suggest just playing on the live server instead! As usual, the network may open and close arbitrarely.
