Hello,
Today we are excited to release a new SkyBlock farming island called The Garden! The Garden is an extension of your Private Island, unlocked after reaching SkyBlock Level 5, where you can create and edit your own personal farms.
The Garden allows you to easily create and edit farming plots, and due to its magical nature, your crops will grow much quicker on it!
Learn more about the Garden below!
► Sam the Stranger
The Garden is accessible after speaking to the Stranger that appears on your Private Island at Skyblock Level 5. Once they appear, you are sent a chat message with their coordinates.
Head to the coordinates to find Sam, who will compliment your Private Island and introduce you to The Garden!
► The Barn
The Barn, located in the middle of the island, is the main place of operation. At the Barn, you can unlock and configure plots, upgrade crops, serve visitors, and complete milestones to increase your Garden Level. The higher your Garden Level, the higher tier crops you will gain access to.
Plus, you can also change the look of your Barn with a Barn Skin, allowing you to personalize and make your Garden truly unique!
Barn Skins
Do you feel like standing out from the crowd or showing off? We are also introducing a new type of flashy cosmetic in this update called Barn Skins!
Choose a skin that matches your personality (or one that makes your friends jealous), as there are many to choose from!
► The Desk
The Desk is used for the day-to-day operations of your Garden. It is where you can see your Garden Level, manage your Plots, perform Crop Upgrades, access the SkyMart, change your Barn Skin, or view your Garden Milestones.
You can also use the /desk command to access your Desk from anywhere!
► Plots
The Garden comes with 24 different plots measuring 96x96 in size. Each plot is fully customizable and can be configured to your liking. Whether you wish to have a farm full of Wheat or grow every crop imaginable, it’s entirely up to you!
Presets
For those who prefer a more effortless approach, the Barn also offers a selection of pre-made farm presets that you can use right away. And for the ultimate convenience, you can create your own custom presets and easily reuse them across multiple plots to streamline your farming process.
A plot preset can be pasted into your Garden either by using materials from your inventory or sacks or by purchasing resources from the Bazaar directly at the Desk.
You can also build, save and load your own presets; however, if you are using your own custom preset, any blocks aside from crops that are destroyed will not drop items!
► Composter
The Composter is an essential part of your Barn. You can use your Composter to create a new item called Compost, which can be used to expand The Garden by unlocking new Plots. With each plot you unlock, you have the opportunity to expand your farming operations and grow even more crops. So don't hesitate, get started with the Composter and start unlocking those plots today!
Compost is created by inserting your harvested crops into the Composter along with a form of fuel to power it. In order to start creating Compost, the Composter must have enough Organic Matter and Fuel stored inside.
Once enough Fuel and Organic Matter are in the Composter; it starts generating Compost over time!
► SkyMart
SkyMart is your one-stop shop for everything you need in The Garden. Use it to browse the wide variety of products on offer – from Biofuel, the Builder’s Ruler, to new farming equipment, enchantments, or Barn Skins!
Some of the items in SkyMart cost Copper, a brand-new currency that is only available in The Garden. You gain Copper by accepting offers from your visitors.
► Garden Levels
The Garden comes with its own leveling system, named Garden Levels. These levels dictate the type of crops, amount of plots, crop upgrades, and visitors that you have access to.
You can level up your Garden Level by accepting offers from Visitors and unlocking new Garden Milestones.
► Visitors
Visitors are familiar NPCs from across SkyBlock, each with individual and specific requests. They will visit your Garden from time to time and present you with an offer, allowing you the choice to accept or decline their proposal.
Each visitor has different requirements, so make sure you are prepared for anything!
Visitor's Logbook
You can consult the Visitor's Logbook to keep track of your interactions with these visitors. This handy tool provides you with all the information you need to know about each visitor. Keep in mind that some Visitors will have to be unlocked before they make an appearance in your Garden!
► Crop Upgrades
Crop Upgrades come in 9 stages, where each stage grants +5 Farming Fortune for that specific crop while harvesting. Each upgrade requires a specific Garden Level and some Copper, and the previous upgrade must be unlocked before advancing to the next.
► Garden Milestones
Crop Milestones
As you harvest crops, you progress towards Crop Milestones. Each milestone yields different rewards, such as Garden Experience, Farming Experience, and SkyBlock Experience. The more milestones you unlock, the harder it is to advance to the next level.
Visitor Milestones
Unique Visitors
This milestone is progressed by accepting offers from visitors that are novel to your Garden. The more unique offers you complete, the more milestones you will unlock and the more rewards you will unlock.
Total Offers Accepted
Increase this milestone by accepting offers from all the visitors to your Garden. Complete more offers to unlock more milestones and gain more rewards!
► New Farming Armor
In addition, new sets of Farming Armor have been added to the game, offering various bonuses such as increased Farming Fortune and a chance to harvest rare drops from crops. You can find the first Farming Armor of the series in the later stages of the Melon Collection.
Here's one of these new Armor Sets, the rest you'll have to find yourself!
► New Community Shop Upgrade
