Hello.
Following feedback from players, we tweaked a few things about the motes economy so that Shen and the motes economy remains disconnected from the coins economy.
Rift-Exportable[]
Some of the items from Vampire Slayer now have the Rift-Exportable tag:
- Bubba Blister
- Fang-tastic Chocolate Chip
- Quantum Book Bundle
- Guardian Lucky Block
- Unfaged Vampire Part
Some players commented that "the damage has already been done".
We do not think so. There are only so many slayer drops in circulation, and in 1 or 2 Shen auctions, the motes will have run out.
Other[]
- Reduced motes value of Hemoglass from 80->25
- Reduced motes value of Hemobomb from 1200->400
- Fixed vampire minions being in the wrong category in the recipe book
- Fixed more typos
Hey all!

- Added a cooldown to some warning messages in Crystal Hollows.
Hey everyone!
We would like to apologize for closing off the Rift for the past few hours.
This morning, we discovered that an exploit allowed players to transfer items in and out of the Rift without any restrictions, allowing players to bring in powerful equipment. This obviously allowed players to overpower the Rift's content tremendously.
To fix this issue, we have had to figure out quite a few things, but we've managed to roll an update that should fix both the exploit and anyone who used the exploit, whether they did it intentionally or not.
This means that any items you have transferred into the Rift will be removed from your inventory and sent to a new NPC at the Wizard's Tower called Udium. Any Rift items that were taken outside of the Rift will simply be deleted. This should not cause any issues as there will always be a way to recover lost items by going back to related NPCs in the Rift.
If an item was brought out of the rift using the exploit, enchanted/reforged/other, then brought back in the rift using the exploit, the item will be deleted aswell.
Do note that another issue cropped up which may have removed some rift-transferable talismans from accessory bags. We are working on a solution to this problem and will let you all know more about it in the next few days.
With this, the Rift has been reopened and can be explored again. We apologize for the inconvenience.
