Hello!
It's time for some more testing of SkyBlock content on the Alpha Network. Today's additions include the following:
- Dragon Rush and Primal Dragons
- Tablist Widgets
- General's Medallion Accessory
- Pet Buffs and Reworks
- ... and more!
Read on for more details about them!
► Dragon Rush and Primal Dragons[]
The End Island was introduced very early in SkyBlock with a central dragon fight in the Dragon's Nest. With this update, we're introducing a fun new twist that allows you to fight multiple dragons at the same time and a new dragon type: The Primal Dragon! These new events can only occur by placing Awakened Summoning Eyes on the altar, a new item crafted with 8x Summoning Eyes and 2x Null Ovoids. Try them out on the Alpha Network!
► Tablist Widgets[]
You've seen this one before! Thanks to your suggestions, we've greatly improved a lot of things regarding Tablist Widgets. Looking forward for some more feedback about them when you've checked them out this alpha session.
Hypixel Team said: On most islands, the tablist will be replaced by a customizable tablist which contains so-called widgets. You can change your settings using the SkyBlock settings menu or running the
/widgets
command.
► General's Medallion[]
General's Medallion is a new accessory that you can obtain from dungeons. Look for Zodd in a new dungeon room to purchase one from him!
General's Medallion boosts your dungeon item stats. The amount this accessory boosts your stats by scales off of your secret count. As we currently do not track your secret count per profile, we've done some magic to split your secret count among all eligible profiles.
EDIT: Secret Count migration will not work on Alpha as your achievement data is not migrated over. This is a known issue.
► Pet Buffs and Reworks[]
Nothing much to see here, just a dozen or so changes to pet stats, perks, and even perk reworks. Open the spoiler below to see the full list of changes.
Code:
## Ghoul Pet
### Base Stats
- The Vitality from “Amplified Healing” should become a pet stat instead. The “Undead Slayer” perk (see below) should replace “Amplified Healing”.
- Add Mending to the pet’s base stats equal to the amount of vitality it has.
### Undead Slayer (Replacement of “Amplified Healing”)
- Gain 1.005x ➜ 1.5x Combat XP against Zombies.
### Reaper Soul (Rework)
- Reaper Soul reduces the summoning cost of mobs by 0.3% ➜ 30% and increases their damage output by 0.2% ➜ 20%.
- Reword the part about health of summoned mobs to “Increases the health of all summoned mobs by 1 ➜ 100%”.
### Army of the Dead (Replacement of “Zombie Arm”)
- Increase the amount of souls you can store and summon by 2. Also increases the chance of getting a mob’s soul by 0 ➜ 20%.
## Giraffe Pet
### Base Stats
- Add +0.01 ➜ +1 Swing Range to the pet’s Base Stats.
### Good Heart (Rework)
- Gain +x Health Regen.
- Common: 0.015% ➜ 1.5%
- Uncommon, Rare: 0.02% ➜ 2%
- Epic, Legendary: 2 ➜ 200
### Long Neck (Rework)
- Increases your melee damage by 50% ➜ 100% if you are more than 3 blocks away from the target.
### Higher Ground (Rework)
- Increase your Crit Damage and Strength by 0.0015% ➜ 0.15% for every 0.1 Swing Range over 3. Capped at 6 Swing Range.
- There are many ways you can gain swing range and figure out how to best utilize the Giraffe Pet. You can easily reach the 6 Swing Range cap while in dungeons as Berserker, or cobble together an interesting combination of items in the overworld to reach the 6 Swing Range cap. Hopefully this opens up more options to players and enjoy theorycrafting what works best!
## Golem Pet
### Base Stats
- Add +0.01 ➜ 1 Swing Range to the pet’s base stats.
### Last Stand (Rework)
- While at less than 20% HP, reduce incoming and outgoing damage by 20%. Additionally, gain a temporary shield equal to 10% of the player's maximum health. (Lasts 5 seconds, 60s cooldown).

- This is done as the current 10% is kinda overshadowed by literally anything that gives Magic Find.
## Megalodon Pet
### Base Stats
- Add +5 ➜ +10 Ferocity to the pet’s base stats.
- Add +0 ➜ 40 Fishing Speed to the pet’s base stats.
- Add 0 ➜ 10 Sea Creature Chance to the pet’s base stats.
### Blood Scent (Rework)

### Enhanced Scales (Rework)

### Feeding Frenzy (Rework)
- Increases your chance to catch Sharks during the Fishing Festival by 20%.
## Pigman Pet
### Giant Slayer (Rework)
- Deal +50% extra damage to monsters level 50 and up. Deal +75% extra damage to monsters level 100 and up.
- This used to be a +25% **additive** modifier (that is very bad compared to every other pet) that procced almost never).
## Skeleton Pet
### Bone Arrows (Rework)
- Increase arrow damage by +0 ➜ +75% (at Legendary). This effect is doubled while in Dungeons.
- This damage is an **additive** modifier.
- Rework this for other rarities because they give less arrow damage.
### Skeletal Defense (Bug Fix)
- The arrow your skeleton shoots will no longer bounce.
## Snowman Pet
### Blizzard (Rework)
- Enemies within 8 ➜ 16 blocks are slowed by 25% and deal 0.15% ➜ 15% less damage.
### Snow Cannon (Rework)
- Shoot a snowball towards an enemy when you attack.
- The snowman does NOT attack by itself anymore, it now only triggers when you attack.
- The snowball damage is equal to 10% ➜ 20% of the last melee damage hit you dealt.
- Cooldown: 1 Second
## Spider Pet
### Base Stats
- Change the Strength stat to +0 ➜ +50.
### One With The Spider (Rework)
- Add x Strength to every piece of Arachnid weapon, armor, and equipment that you have equipped. (applied to base stats).
- +1 ➜ 3 Strength at Common, 0.02 per level.
- +2 ➜ 6 Strength at Uncommon, 0.04 per level.
- +3 ➜ 9 Strength at Rare, 0.06 per level.
- +4 ➜ 12 Strength at Epic, 0.08 per level.
- +5 ➜ 15 Strength at Legendary. 0.1 per level
- Holding an Arachnid weapon counts as having it equipped.
- Spider-related items, such as Tarantula Armor, Arachne Equipment etc. have been assigned the Arachnid tag for easier reference.
## Turtle Pet
### Base Stats
- Change the Health stat to +50 ➜ +75.
- Change the Defense stat to +100 ➜ +150.
- Add True Defense 0 ➜ +15 to the pet’s base stats.
### Turtle Tactics (Rework)
- Gain +3.27 % ➜ +30% Defense. Standing still will grant another +10% Defense.
### Genius Amniote (Rework)
- Grants +1% ➜ +2.5% Defense to up to 4 players within 50 blocks of you.
- This effect does **NOT** stack with multiple turtle pets!
### Turtle Shell (Rework)
- When under 40% maximum HP, take 0.25 ➜ 25% less damage. Gain +10 ➜ +20 Vitality for 15 seconds after taking 10 hits.
- Hits are instances of damage.
- 10 instances of damage will grant you the Turtle Shell vitality bonus. If you already have the bonus, it will refresh the duration of the vitality buff.
## Wither Skeleton Pet
### Wither Blood (Rework)
- Deal +125% more damage to wither mobs.
- Contrary to what it seems, the change from a 25% multiplicative to a 125% additive modifier is actually a lot stronger for most players. For players a lot further into progression where this change is a slight nerf, you have other pets at your disposal that deal more damage than Wither Skeleton in general anyway.
## Zombie Pet
### Bite Shield (Rework of “Chomp”)
- Reduce damage taken from Zombies by x% ➜ y%.
- Common: 5% ➜15%
Uncommon, Rare: 10% ➜ 20%
Epic, Legendary: 15% ➜ 25%
### Rotten Blade (Rework)
- 25% Damage to Zombies ➜ Deal 150% more damage to Zombies.
### Living Dead (Rework)
- 0.25 ➜ 25% Stats on Undead Armor (instead of 0.2 ➜ 20%).
### Unlock Requirement
- The current way to unlock the Zombie Pet craft is Zombie Collection 9. Let’s move it down to Zombie Collection 6, and change the crafting recipe to 16*8 Enchanted Rotten Flesh.
- This makes the pet more accessible to it’s intended new-player audience!
