- Revamped Heart of the Mountain
- New Forge Slots and Pure Ores
- Mining Balance Overhaul
- Dye Drop Chance Changes
- Various Quality of Life Changes
- Bug Fixes
Keep reading if you want to know all of the details!
NOTE: We are currently aware that Farming Fortune (and the Pig Pet) are currently not working as intended and are looking into fixing it.
► Crystal Nucleus RNG Meter[]
1,000 xp is earned per run!
We've introduced an RNG Meter to the Crystal Nucleus, allowing you to guarantee a drop of your choice after completing a certain number of runs. You will retroactively receive Nucleus XP for runs you've completed at a 25% rate.
We've also changed how Divan's Alloy drops from the Nucleus: rather than having a dynamic drop rate, the drop rate will always be ~1/1,000 runs.
► Revamped Heart of the Mountain[]
The Heart of the Mountain has been almost entirely overhauled. Most perks were either moved, changed, or deleted, and there are also quite a few new ones! Our goal was to get rid of all of the less useful perks and replace them with more useful ones. We've refunded everyone's Powder and reset their trees for free so that everyone can try the new Heart of the Mountain out!
We've also made some additional changes to the Heart of the Mountain:
- Added a warning for when you mine with unspent HotM tokens
- Disabled HotM perks now appear as Redstone Dust
- You can no longer switch to a different Pickaxe Ability while you have one currently active or on cooldown
► Other Mining Changes[]
➥ New Stats[]
Mining Fortune Variants
Similar to individual Crop Fortunes, Mining Fortune is getting 4 sub types that stack on top of your base Mining Fortune. There are Ores, Blocks, Dwarven Metals, and Gemstones. Which Fortunes apply to what can all be found in the newly revamped Handy Block Guide, accessed through Fragilis or /hbg

Mining Spread
This stat is your chance to break an additional block when mining, and it stacks above 100 similar to Fortune. If you have 350 Mining Spread, you are guaranteed to mine 3 additional blocks and then have a 50% chance to mine a fourth. Mining Spread is compatible with Ores, Blocks, and Dwarven Metals.
Gemstone Spread This stat works just like Mining Spread--but for Gemstones! The key difference here compared to how it worked previously is that Gemstone Spread is compatible with Pristine, making it super powerful!
Heat Resistance Just like Cold Resistance, Heat Resistance improves your survivability when exposed to Heat. We've also taken the time to revamp how Heat builds up so that it's more lenient, building up slower and dispersing faster.
Heat Buildup Changes Old System + While in the Magma Fields: +1 Heat/s + While in lava: +5 Heat/s - While not in the Magma Fields: -0.5 Heat/s - While in water: -1 Heat/s - Drinking a water bottle: -40 Heat
New System + While in the Magma Fields: +0.1 Heat/s + While in Khazad-Dum: +0.2 Heat/s (takes priority over Magma Fields) + While on fire: +1 Heat/s + While in lava: +3 Heat/s (takes priority over fire) - While not in the Magma Fields: -1 Heat/s - While in water: -5 Heat/s - Drinking any potion: -10 Heat
➥ Pure Ores[]
We've revamped the Dwarven Ores (such as Dwarven Gold and Emerald) into "Pure" Ores, along with adding pure variants of all the remaining vanilla ores. The Royal Mines now also contains a large variety of these Pure Ores.

➥ Miscellaneous[]
We made many, many, miscellaneous changes to mining that didn't really fit into any other section. The goal for most of these changes is to tie up any loose ends in progression and to improve the early game mining experience. Many are also just slight improvements to make your mining experience just a little better!
➥ Balancing[]
Many changes were made across the board to spread out Mining Fortune across more parts of mining and improve underutilized gear and items.
We probably missed a few changes to mining, there were too many to list! A more comprehensive breakdown on all the changes and why we made them can be found on the original Alpha playtest thread.

► Future Plans[]
Below is a list of some of the content we're currently working on and would like to share with you. Please note that, as always, this is not an exhaustive list, and some things discussed here might not ultimately make it into the game. We should also point out that we are also working on other secret things that are not on this list, as always.
➥ Chocolate Factory[]
We're pleased with the progress of the Chocolate Factory and have a few small updates on the way. These will address current issues and include new features like seasonal automatic egg collection, guaranteed methods to acquire the rarest rabbits, and more!
➥ Museum Progression Revamp[]
An upcoming update will overhaul the Museum's reward system. Instead of gaining SkyBlock XP based on the total number of items displayed, you'll now earn XP based on each item's individual value. For example, late-game items will provide more XP. While the total XP might be slightly reduced at launch, this change allows for greater XP growth in the long term. Plus, expect enhanced Museum rewards alongside this update.
➥ Pesthunter's Wares[]
Now in the early stages of development, the Pesthunter's Wares is a minor Garden update that will add some more farming content to the game, mostly pest-related.
➥ Foraging[]
As mentioned in our recent Dev Blog, we've made excellent progress on Foraging, with the new Hunting skill nearing completion. While we're not yet ready to implement features from the latest Minecraft version, the Foraging update is nearly polished. We're just waiting for the right tech to catch up.
