Reason: Chocolate Factory 2.0Chocolate is a currency earned via the Chocolate Factory, as well as during Hoppity's Hunt, and can be used to purchase Chocolate Factory upgrades as well as select items.
Obtaining[]
There are many different ways that Chocolate can be obtained, both actively and passively.
Clicking[]
In the Chocolate Factory UI, there is a chocolate rabbit at the top that can be clicked in order to gain 1 Chocolate. Increasing the level of the Hand Baked Chocolate upgrade will give the amount of Chocolate obtained click up to a maximum of 10 at level 10.
While the Chocolate Factory UI is open, unlocked Chocolate Rabbits will randomly appear in a blank slot. Clicking on the rabbit will give the player some Chocolate, based on the rarity of the rabbit and the player's current Chocolate per Second. Lower rarity rabbits will appear more often and all rabbits of the same rarity will give the same amount of Chocolate.
Chocolate per Second[]
Within the Chocolate Factory, there exists a stat called Chocolate per Second, henceforth known as CpS, which can be raised in a number of different ways. The higher the CpS, the more Chocolate is generated passively every second, including while the player is offline. Upgrades to CpS can be categorized as increasing base CpS by a raw amount and/or as adding an additive multiplier to the base CpS.
Rabbit Employees[]
Rabbit Employees can be hired and then upgraded to increase base CpS. All employees share a level cap imposed by the current Chocolate Factory level preventing them from being upgraded infinitely. Each employee will gain +1 more Chocolate per level than the last.

Hoppity's Collection[]
Collecting unique Chocolate Rabbits during Hoppity's Hunt or from the Chocolate Factory Milestone will increase both base CpS as well as the multiplier. The rarity of the Chocolate Rabbit, reflects how powerful it is.
LEGENDARY rabbits don't increase base CpS, only the CpS multiplier, and the only MYTHIC rabbits to increase the factory's CpS are Dante and Zest Zephyr.

Chocolate Factory[]
Each level of Chocolate Factory grants a CpS multiplier. These do not stack, meaning a Chocolate Factory at level 4 will only give a +0.5x multiplier, rather than a +0.85x multiplier.

Time Tower[]
The Time Tower is an upgrade unlocked at Chocolate Factory level 2. The Time Tower slowly charges over 8h up to a maximum of 3 charges (24h for a full charge). Right clicking it will use up 1 charge to increase the Factory's CpS multiplier for 1h.
The multiplier is equal to 0.1 times the level of the Time Tower, starting at +0.1x at level 1 up to a maximum of +1.5x at level 15.
The Chocolate Rabbit Einstein decreases the charge time of the Time Tower by 1h, to just 7h per charge or 21h for a full charge.
Coach Jackrabbit[]
Coach Jackrabbit is an upgrade unlocked at Chocolate Factory level 4. It provides an additional chocolate multiplier, which in comparison to the Time Tower, is always active.

Cookie Clicker[]
Cookies gained from Cookie Clicker are transferred into Chocolate upon first opening the Chocolate Factory[1].
Usage[]
Chocolate can be used to upgrade Rabbit Employees and other upgrades as well as to purchase a selection of items from the Chocolate Shop.
