The Crab Hat of Celebration is a SPECIAL Hatccessory that was given out during a SkyBlock Anniversary.
Obtaining[]
The Crab Hat of Celebration was distributed by 
Simon during the Party Time! event in 2020, which marked the first real-life anniversary of Hypixel SkyBlock.
In 2022, Simon appeared during the SkyBlock Anniversary near the ⏣ Colosseum to distribute Crab Hat of Celebration - 2022 Editions, which were animated unlike their 2020 counterpart.

Usage[]
The Crab Hat of Celebration has two different abilities, the first when it is used as a hat, and the second when it is used as an Accessory. The former, when worn as a Helmet, triggers Crab Hat of Celebration's ability, Party Time!. When stored in the player's 
Accessory Bag, it will count for Magical Power. All Hatccessories count for the same Magical Power, meaning one of any kind will count for the same as all available ones combined.
Additionally, when worn, the Crab Hat of Celebration gives the following cosmetic effect:
- Rainbow potion particles appear around the player.
- Fireworks occasionally launch from the player's head.
- For the 2022 Edition, the texture is animated. See § Gallery below.
Trivia[]
- The color of the hat was randomly selected when it was claimed, like the Century Cake or the expression of Sloth Hat of Celebration.
- The party hats worn by the crabs were white in 2020 and black in 2022.
- Players can only acquire a Crab Hat on one profile.
- Black Crab Hats are generally worth more on the Auction House because they are more visually pleasing, and the name blends in with the background in the tooltip.
- The Crab Hats, Sloth Hats, and the Pulse Ring are the only Accessories that give ✯ Magic Find without Enrichments.
- As a SPECIAL accessory, the Crab Hat can be enriched.
- When the 2022 edition was released, the stats, enrichments, and Magical Power of different editions stacked with each other.
- The stacking has been removed since a certain point before Aug 19, 2022.
- The amount of ✎ Intelligence gained depends only on the number of SkyBlock years that have passed since the player created their oldest profile, regardless of the player's activity during this time. The current maximum, which applies to players who joined during the first SkyBlock year, is 389?.
- The Crab Hat was the first SPECIAL accessory.
- Hatccessories are inconsistent with their names. The 2022 Crab Hats are the only Hatcessories specifying their year of origin in their title. Crab Hats and Sloth Hats are said to be "of Celebration", while the Balloon Hats are "Anniversary".
