☣ Crit Chance (short for Critical Chance; often abbreviated ☣ CC) is one of the 17 core player statistics. It dictates the odds of landing a Critical Hit.

Mechanics

☣ Crit Chance corresponds to the percentage chance that a melee or ranged hit will be a critical hit.

When landing a critical hit, damage dealt will be multiplied by ☠ Crit Damage.

When a Critical Hit lands, the damage displayed will not be shown in gray, but rather will be displayed in red, orange, yellow, and white colors instead.

☣ Crit Chance above 100% is normally not shown in-game, but nevertheless takes effect (for Overload etc.). It can be viewed in the stats breakdown in the SkyBlock Menu as the "Flat" value, as well as in the Hypixel API.

Increasing Base Crit Chance

Base Crit Chance is the Crit Chance without potions, armor or weapons.

Players have a base ☣ Crit Chance of 30% by default. It can be increased by:

Increasing Bonus Crit Chance

There are several ways to gain additional bonus ☣ Crit Chance.

Maximum Crit chance (Outdated)

The max Crit Chance is 519.2% outside of dungeons

At combat 60 and spider slayer 7, you have base 61%

All talisman on unpleasant and recombed = 133%(hegemony ability is in there)

Armor recombed = 108%(unstable:20% ancient:60% Legion V:28%)

Weapon recombed = 150%(Livid dagger:100% odd:30% Chimera V:20%)

Pet = 20%(100 Legendary Ender Dragon:10% Bigger teeth:+10%)

Total = (61+133+108+150+20)x1.1(drag pet ability) = 519.2% cc
