☠ Crit Damage (short for Critical Damage; often abbreviated ☠ CD) is one of the 17 core player statistics. It increases the damage of player's Critical Hits.

Mechanics

Main article: Damage Calculation

☠ Crit Damage is the amount a critical hit's damage is increased by.

When a player lands a Critical Hit, the damage displayed will not be shown in grey, but will be displayed in red, orange, yellow, and white colors instead. The odds of landing a critical hit is based on ☣ Crit Chance.

Increasing Base Crit Damage

Players have a base ☠ Crit Damage of 50% by default. It can be increased by:

• Leveling Spider Slayer
• Leveling Wolf Slayer

The description of ☠ Crit Damage in-game notes:

"Increase your base Crit Damage by exploring the world!".

However, exploring new locations does not appear to increase base ☠ Crit Damage.

Increasing Bonus Crit Damage

There are several ways to gain additional bonus ☠ Crit Damage.

  • e.g. +15% ☠ Crit Damage from Unstable Dragon Helmet
  • e.g. +5% ☠ Crit Damage from Red Claw Artifact
  • e.g. +50% ☠ Crit Damage from Livid Dagger
• Critical Enchant on Swords
• Critical and Spirit Potions
• Leveling up certain Pets
  •  Enderman Pet - Max 75%
  •  Ender Dragon Pet - Max 50%
  •  Tiger Pet - Max 50%

The higher Rarity the equipment is, the more ☠ Crit Damage it will receive.

Achieving highest possible Crit Damage outside Dungeons

Base: Base ☠ Crit Damage and bonus from leveling Slayer ($50 + 18 = 68$)

Accessories: Silky reforge, ☠ Crit Damage Enrichments, Accessories and Red Claw Artifact ($30 + 944 + 5 = 979$)

Armor: Full set of Necron Armor with the Ancient reforge with Legion V ($(30 + 50) * 4 = 320$)

Weapon: Rapid Terminator with Overload V ($250 + 5 + 90 = 345$)

Ender Dragon Pet with Serrated Claws ($50 + 25 = 75$)

Temporary bonuses: Beacon, Spirit and Critical Potion ($40 + 40 = 80$)

Combining all of that together (while having 20 players around):
$(68+979+320+345+75+80)*1.1*1.28=2642.82{\text{ Crit Damage}}$

Trivia

• It is possible to have negative ☠ Crit Damage, and it will decrease damage on a critical hit.
