• The longsword's lore is a reference to the popular Japanese Manga series called "Berserk".
• This was both the first item to have the stat Ⓢ Swing Range as well as the first Longsword.
• The usage requirement used to be bugged, only requiring Floor VII completion.
• This weapon is tied with the  Giant's Sword for highest base damage of any melee weapon.
  •  Spider Queen's Stinger (Starred) has 600 ❁ Damage.
• This weapon can have up to 613 base damage with 5 stars,  Fuming Potato Books,  LEGENDARY Blaze Pet, and Tabasco III.
• The term Claymore refers to either the Scottish variant of a Longsword or the Scottish variant of the basket-hilted swords, the latter of which is sometimes also known as a Broadsword.
