Collecting diamonds increases the player's Diamond Collection, which grants the player useful items and perks upon collecting a certain amount of diamonds.

Obtaining[]
Diamond can be found in the Deep Caverns in two locations. It is present in the Diamond Reserve in ore form only and in the Obsidian Sanctuary which can be found in both ore and block forms, and can also be found in the Dwarven Mines in some small patches of ores. It can also be obtained through the use of Diamond Minions, Revenant Minions and the Diamond Spreading minion upgrade on the Player's Island.
Collecting a Diamond grants +12 
Mining XP, whilst collecting a diamond block from the Obsidian Sanctuary grants +15.
