The Dolphin Pet is a  Fishing Pet that can be obtained directly from Fishing. Unlike other  Fishing Pets, the Dolphin is obtained via milestones, similar to the Rock Pet. Upon reaching a milestone a new dolphin pet is acquired, any previous dolphins are not upgraded.

Obtaining

The Dolphin Pet is obtained by killing Sea Creatures. However, the kill count starts from the time of the Pets v2 update, not from the start of SkyBlock (kills from before the Pets v2 update will not be counted).

The milestones are as follows:

Trivia

• The LEGENDARY variant is generally not considered worthwhile to upgrade to, as the only additional perk not present in EPIC is not too useful.
• Rusty does not currently sell the Dolphin Pet, therefore on ♲ Ironman and ☀ Stranded profiles, if you lose all your Dolphin Pets and you are already at the highest milestone, the only way to get it back is by trading with a Co-op member or transferring from a Ⓑ Bingo profile.
• Only Sea Creatures fished up by the player count towards the dolphin pet, any other Sea Creatures, such as from another player or naturally spawned ones, won't count. The player does not need to kill the Sea Creature themselves, so long as the Sea Creature is killed it will count towards their progress.
