The Dungeon Chest Key is a RARE Dungeon item that can be found from secrets. It allows a second Dungeon Reward Chest to be opened when the Dungeon is completed.

Dungeon Chest Keys can be found from secrets on Floor 4 of The Catacombs and above. The drop chance is 0.6%.
Usage[]
Dungeon Chest Keys allow the player to open a second dungeon post-boss chest after a dungeons run. When the player holds a dungeon chest key in their inventory, they can view the contents and the GUI of other dungeon chests when right-clicking on them. The chest is not opened until the open button within the GUI menu is clicked. Only one dungeon chest key may be used per run. When the 2nd chest is opened, the key is consumed.
Trivia[]
- For a short time after Floor 4's release, the Dungeon Chest Key was able to be reforged like a normal accessory which gave a stat bonus. However, this was unintentional and it was patched shortly after. The item's reforge is not removable, as the feature was removed, though the accessory reforge is affected by dungeon scaling, giving it a bigger stat boost inside Dungeons.[1]
- The reforged Dungeon Chest Key is extraordinarily rare. Only 5 such items are known to exist, though there may be more unknown ones.
- In another patch these items have become blacklisted. The only known one to exist was on the island of the player 15h in an item frame[2]; however, 15h was later wiped, deleting it.
