Eggs are laid by Chickens, and are used in various recipes. All crafted Pets are created using eggs.
Obtaining[]
There are a few different ways to obtain eggs, with varying difficulty:
- Kill a chicken in ⏣ The Barn.
- The base chance to drop an egg is 30%.
- Using a RARE
Chicken Pet, this chance can be increased to 80%. - Using a EPIC or higher rarity Chicken Pet, it can be increased to 100%.
- Note 1: The drops are affected by Looting (increasing the drop chance) and the Chicken Axe (does not increase the drop chance, but instead increases the number of drops by 2 if an egg does drop).
- Note 2: Crafting a Chicken Pet requires an Enchanted Egg or a Super Enchanted Egg.
- Wait for the chickens in ⏣ The Barn to drop eggs.
- Note: This method is very inefficient due to the chickens spawned in this area taking longer on average to lay eggs, along with the short lifespans of said chickens due to other players farming them.
- Wait for the chicken next to Gulliver at ⏣ Jerry's Workshop to drop eggs.
- Note: ⏣ Jerry's Workshop is only open for one month of the SkyBlock year, making this method inefficient.
- Use a Chicken Minion, but prevent the chickens from dying (by moving them out of the minion's range) so that they can lay eggs normally.
- Players typically stack the Chickens in a single block with a Hopper underneath to collect the eggs.
- The Enchanted Egg minion upgrade allows each chicken killed by the minion to drop one egg, although crafting this item itself requires eggs. It is recommended to buy this item from the Bazaar and to put it into a Chicken Minion so it produces eggs.
- The Chicken Head has an ability allowing you to crouch to lay an egg (5-second cooldown), although crafting this item itself requires 5 eggs.
