Enchanted Book is a COMMON, UNCOMMON, RARE, EPIC, LEGENDARY, or MYTHIC item. Its rarity is based on the enchant and its corresponding level. They can be obtained from superpairs in an Experimentation Table or unlocked from a specific Collection. It is used to add Enchantments to items in an Anvil.
As of the Enchanting Overhaul update (0.10), players can no longer enchant books at an Enchantment Table.
Two enchanted books of the same enchantment and enchantment level (such as Protection III) can be combined together using an anvil in order to create a single enchanted book of the same enchantment but with a one-level increase to the enchantment. This also applies to any piece of armor or a tool/weapon that has the same enchantment and enchantment level of an enchantment book being combined with it.
However, combining two high level enchanted books of the same enchantment such as Luck VI will give a lower level.
An enchanted book can be recombobulated with the Recombobulator 3000, making it DIVINE.
Examples[]
- Two Protection III books can be combined into a single Protection IV book.
- Combining a Golem Sword that has Thunderlord IV with an enchanted book that has Thunderlord IV in an anvil will result in a Golem Sword enchanted with Thunderlord V.
- Combining two Luck VI books will result in a Luck V (since players cannot craft a higher level Luck book than 5, it resets to 5).

There are some exceptions to this, for example a Replenish I book is Rare.

Trivia[]
- Some books with the same name but similar Roman numerals are commonly used in scams. A notable example includes advertising a Sharpness IV book as a Sharpness VI book. Players can easily prevent this, however, by using a mod such as Skyblock Addons to turn Roman Numerals into normal numbers or the Not Enough Updates mod to change max enchantments color.
- When an enchanted book has two enchantments for different tools, an example being Giant Killer and Efficiency, it will use the enchantment based on the tool it is used on. For example, applying it on a pickaxe will not give the pickaxe Giant Killer.
- It used to be possible to obtain enchanted books without any enchantments through mostly unknown means, one of them being old telekinesis books having their enchantments removed. Some players still have these glitched books[1].
