Events

Events can be seen by opening the SkyBlock Menu and clicking Calendar and Events.

A SkyBlock Year is exactly 5 days and 4 hours, meaning the timing of events rotates to suit different timezones.

Events[]

Events repeat at the same in-game time every SkyBlock year. The Event Stand is located in the middle of the village, just behind the portal to the ⏣ Private Island.

New Year Celebration	Late Winter	29-31	To celebrate the SkyBlock New Year, the Baker is giving out free Cake.
Traveling Zoo	Early Summer and Early Winter	1-3	Oringo the Traveling Zookeper is visiting SkyBlock with pets to trade!
Spooky Festival	Autumn	29-31* **	Autumn is in full swing and the air is full of fright. Mob drops have a chance to contain Candy, which can be traded with the Fear Mongerer for rare items!
Season of Jerry	Late Winter	24-26	The Jerrys are hard at work trying to craft enough Gifts for all of SkyBlock, but an army of enemies are on the attack! Help protect ⏣ Jerry's Workshop so that everyone can go home with Gifts!
Election Booth Opens	Late Summer	27	The Mayor election booth opens in the community center!
Election Over	Late Spring	27	The Mayor is selected until the next election ends!
Hoppity's Hunt	Spring	93	Help Hoppity find his Chocolate Rabbits across SkyBlock.

* Fear Mongerer arrives one hour before the event, announcing that Spooky Festival will happen in 3, 2 and 1 days respectively. He leaves one hours after the event is over. While he is in Hub, players can fish unique Sea Creatures. ** Foxy can schedule an extra Spooky Festival. Additionally, around real life Halloween, more Spooky Festivals are scheduled.

Calendar Events[]

These events only appear when looking directly into the calendar and are not shown in the Events menu, because they are far more common. Major events however appear in Calendar as well as the Events menu.

Mayor Events[]

Those events occur only when a certain Mayor is elected.

Mythological Ritual	Diana	During the entire mayor's tenure.	Dig out Griffin Burrows and spawn Mythological Creatures.
Fishing Festival	Marina or Foxy	First 3 days of each SkyBlock month.	Fish up Sharks.
Mining Fiesta	Cole or Foxy	Entire Early Autumn	Get 1.5x Mining EXP, double drops from Ores, and obtain Refined Minerals.

June 11 (annually)	Talk with Simon to receive a Crab Hat. 2020: The event lasted for 24 hours, starting at 11PM EDT on June 10, 2020. 2021: The event did not happen in 2021. 2022: The event lasted for 48 hours, starting at 6:35PM EDT on June 10, 2022. 2023: The event lasted for 168 hours, starting at 6:15PM EDT on June 12, 2023.

Dark Auction[]

When: Every 3 SkyBlock days (every real-life hour).

The Dark Auction is a place where you can bid on exclusive items. It is recommended that you take a lot of Coins though, as the items sold here go for quite a lot.

For a very short amount of time, an NPC called Sirius spawns outside of a house near Tia the Fairy. Speak to him to enter the Dark Auction. The Dark Auction starts at the 55th minute of every real-life hour (e.g. 9:55). It is recommended to have as many coins in your purse as possible to have a higher chance of getting in since only the people with the highest money on them will be let in. There are 4 total bouts of bidding, each for a different item, the last item always being a Flower Minion. You can find a timer on when the event happens here.

One SkyBlock year lasts 372 SkyBlock days, with each month lasting 31 days exactly.
There are exactly 124 Dark Auctions and 124 Jacob's Farming Contests in one SkyBlock year.
