Usage[]
Farming for Dummies can be applied to a Hoe or Axe up to 5 times via an Anvil in order to grant it +1 ☘ Farming Fortune. Applying more than 5 Farming for Dummies on an item will still consume the book, even though a bonus will not be added.
The additional ☘ Farming Fortune added to the item from Farming for Dummies will be displayed in dark green parentheses next to the stat, like so: (+[#]).

- Farming for Dummies references The Great Potato War, where YouTubers Technoblade and im_a_squid_kid competed to be the first to reach a Potato Collection of 500 million, which Technoblade won.
- The item's name references the For Dummies series of instructional books.
- For a few months after it first came out, there was a glitch where having a compatible item with Farming for Dummies in the player's inventory would still boost their ☘ Farming Fortune without holding the item, as intended.
