Trivia

• The model is based on the Pokémon Magikarp. Other items like Blessed Bait and the Flying Fish Pet are recolored versions of the hat.
• When the Splash ability is used, a message saying "It's not very effective..." will appear in the chat. This is a reference to Magikarp's iconic useless move, Splash. The message refers to a move hitting a Pokémon with a resisting type.
• This item is part of the Melancholic Viking's quest.
