The Forge Basin is an area in ⏣ The Forge, in the ⏣ Dwarven Mines. Here you can speak to 
Jotraeline Greatforge, who can upgrade and give perks to Drills.
It is one of the locations where the 
Powder Ghast can spawn. Also, the 
Dark Monolith will sometimes spawn on top of the pot, next to Jotraeline Greatforge.
