Fossil Dust is a currency that can be exchanged for 
Suspicious Scrap. It does not appear as an actual item in the player's inventory.
Obtaining[]
Fossil Dust can be found in ⏣ Glacite Mineshafts. It appears as Quartz blocks, stairs and slabs. Breaking them credits Fossil Dust to the player.
Fossil Dust can also be found in the Fossil Excavator.
Increasing Fossil Dust Gain[]
The Dust Collector HotM perk increases Fossil Dust gain from all sources by 20%.
Perfect Peridot Gemstones can be applied to a Chisel to increase Fossil Dust gain from the Fossil Excavator by 30%-100% per gemstone, up to 300% with 3x Perfect Peridot Gemstones on a 
Perfect Chisel.
Usage[]
500 Fossil Dust can be exchanged for 1x Suspicious Scrap at the Fossil Excavator.
Tips[]
- Fossil Dust is a very inefficient way to get
Suspicious Scrap. It is much easier to obtain Suspicious Scrap directly from ⏣ Glacite Mineshafts.
