᠅ Gemstone Powder is a collectable and non-item that is used to upgrade most Tier 6 and 7 perks of the Heart of the Mountain.
Obtaining[]
Gemstone Powder can be obtained from various sources, as listed below:
- Mining Gemstone.
- Claiming Crystal Hollows Commissions.
- Chests in the Crystal Hollows.
- Mines of Divan Treasure Chests.
- Garden NPC (Emissary Wilson)
Increasing Gemstone Powder Gain[]
- Two Heart of the Mountain perks, Sky Mall and Daily Powder, directly reward additional powder.
- The Sky Mall perk grants a chance to earn 15% extra powder for an entire SkyBlock day (does not apply to Crystal Hollows treasure chests).
- The Daily Powder perk grants up to 3964 powder at level 100 (400 at level 1) for the first Gemstone mined each day, resetting at midnight Eastern Standard Time.
- Having a LEGENDARY
Scatha Pet equipped grants +20% extra Gemstone Powder from all sources (despite it saying only from mining). - Holding a
Ruby Drill TX-15 or its upgraded versions grants +5-20% extra Gemstone Powder from all sources.
Usage[]
Heart of the Mountain[]
Gemstone Powder is used to upgrade HotM perks from Tier 6 and 7, except for Fortunate, which is upgraded with ᠅ Mithril Powder. It is also required for Tier 6 and 7 of Peak of the Mountain,
Trivia[]
- The boost to powder from Scatha Pet, holding a Ruby Drill or its upgrades and the Powder Buff HotM perk is additive, all of them are multiplicative to the boost from
King Talisman. - The maximum amount of ᠅ Gemstone Powder a player may have is 2 billion. [AHN]
