Usage[]
It can be used as a melee weapon, unlike other melee weapons, the Giant's Sword has an additional +1 Ⓢ Swing Range.
Its ability strikes the ground 5 blocks ahead of the user with a large sword. Mobs within a 8 block radius of the impact take 100,000 base ability damage. Like other abilities, the ability damage is increased by ✎ Intelligence, ๑ Ability Damage and the weapon's enchantments.

- This is considered to be one of the best melee weapons, ahead of
Shadow Fury and Livid Dagger, even comparable to weapons such as the Valkyrie and Scylla after the strength nerfs. - Currently, it is tied for the highest base damage of any weapon, tied with the Dark Claymore.
- Before the nerfs of One For All, the maximum base Damage was +1643, with Fuming Potato Books. However, the base damage can now no longer exceed +580 (without dungeon scaling and/or Lion Pet, Blaze Pet, Tabasco).

- The Giant's Sword was commonly used in sword swapping to a lower-damage weapon with a bonus damage ability such as Reaper Falchion. Using it, high-health enemies such as Revenant Horror Tier
Vwere easily defeated before it was patched. - During the Alpha Testing of the 0.19.4 Update, an upgrade to this item existed - the Giant's Eye Sword, which had the ability of Precursor Eye and increased the power of the ability when paired with the aforementioned helmet.
