The Glacite Walker is a hostile mob that spawns in groups at the ⏣ Great Ice Wall in the ⏣ Dwarven Mines. They have high defense, but take more damage based on the Ⓟ Breaking Power of the tool used to attack them.

The Glacite Walker Slayer commission requires the player to kill 50 Glacite Walkers.

Behavior

Glacite Walkers are hostile to all players. They have 888 ❤ Health and 1000 ❈ Defense. They take reduced damage from regular weapons, but they take more damage from Pickaxes the higher their Ⓟ Breaking Power is.

Glacite Walkers will stop pursuing a player if the player stands inside or just outside the entrance to the Great Ice Wall from Divan's Gateway. The point at which they stop pursuit varies with each Glacite Walker.

Tips

• In a similar vein, if one is not capable of withstanding their attacks, it is advised to move up to the small ledges at the wall and safely attack them from above.
• At ground level, players with high damage output may use a Runaan's Bow and aim from near the gate to kill them simultaneously.
• Fire damage ignores their defense. So if one isn't capable of killing them in one hit, the residual damage may finish them off.
• If Star Sentries spawn at the area where Glacite Walkers spawn, and if you are using a Runaan's Bow, it is highly advised to kill or push away the sentries close to them if one wishes to farm there using bows. The bow's aiming effect may be lured towards the sentries which cannot be damaged by bows anyway.

Trivia

• Much like Goblins and Treasure Hoarders, Glacite Walkers are unstable, meaning if they are killed the first few frames upon spawning, in which they are labeled as Armor Stands, it may result in a game crash. This is due to the spawning of this mob will create a Team that is already existing and is a fatal error to the game program. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid spamming weapon abilities such as that of the Frozen Scythe or the Jerry-chine Gun, before they are about to spawn.
• According to the EHP calculator, Glacite Walkers have 9768 effective health. Since pickaxe-bow swapping has been patched, a bow or mage weapon must deal 10000 damage for ranged combat/farming to be effective. Otherwise, the player will have to wait for other players to leave and use a pickaxe to farm.
• The Glacite Walker is a great source of early game  Combat XP. It's viable with just  Glacite Armor, a  Rogue Sword for mobility, and any pickaxe.
• The  Stonk is not very effective against Glacite Walkers, as in addition to its low Ⓟ Breaking Power, it also does not have a base ❁ Damage stat. A basic vanilla  Wooden Pickaxe will deal 4x more damage.
• The damage dealt to Glacite Walkers is determined by tool's Ⓟ Breaking Power, for every Ⓟ BP they will take 150x more damage than with a weapon. This stacks additively with itself, so for example a Pickaxe with 2 Ⓟ would deal 300x more damage.
  • If a pickaxe with 0 Ⓟ existed, it wouldn't do any bonus damage.
  • The maximum possible damage multiplier is 1800x at 12 Ⓟ, using a Scraped  Divan's Drill and the Maniac Miner pickaxe ability.
  • The damage from Pickaxes is still affected by their ❈ Defense, if the Pickaxes ignored Defense on top of having bonus damage, they would deal 1650x more damage per Ⓟ BP.
  • The damage dealt can be further increased using the Titan Killer enchantment, which can be applied to a  Gemstone Gauntlet.
