Although this page has been developed by many people, the information may be outdated or incorrect, and due to the very nature of this topic, misinformation is common. Please take care that all information is confirmed and up to date.

Unobtainable and Glitched Items can be created through glitches, and some can sell for high prices on the Auction House. Some items, such as Nether Stars and items without Rarities cannot be put on the Auction House. The items serve no use other than trophy items, though some can have a larger effect, such as crashing player's games.

The terms "null" and "Missing Texture" are very different. "null" is the name for items with glitched IDs, or items that shouldn't exist within skyblock. "Missing Texture" is for items that are missing a texture, commonly shown as a purple and black item ( ).

null Map	Safe	-128 to 128 (excluding 0, which appears as a normal map)	– Right-clicking twice on two stacked maps, updating the maps into glitched filled maps. After dropping both maps on the ground, one will be a normal map, and the second should be null. – They used to be obtained by opening a map while on the hub island, and then opening any menu. This would turn the map into a null version.	Null Maps have the widest range of null item ids on the server, with 256 total. Maps with an id lower than 0 have their name show up as "Map" where maps with an id higher than 0 have the name "null".
null Obsidian	Safe	none	Obtainable through placing an enchanted or unplaceable block right where lava and water meet, which causes the game to get create null obsidian.	One of the most common null blocks, null obsidian is also one of 2 null blocks visible in pre 1.13, the other being null Hay Bales.
null Skull	Safe	3	It was obtainable through many methods, with some obscure ones being possibe today. Methods such as washing placed heads (breaking them with water) were some of the more common ways of creating this item.	It takes the appearance of the vanilla steve head, and is quite common.
null Leather Boots	Safe	1-65 (most commonly 16)	Obtainable before the fishing update, where damaged leather boots could be fished up, and upon dropping them their durability would become their new id, creating nulls. This could also be obtained for a short time after the Crystal Hollows update was released, through fishing in lava.	It takes the appearance of a standard pink and black null block upon the updating of the item.
null Bow	Safe	1-383 (only value ingame is 96)	Obtainable before the fishing update, where damaged bows could be fished up, and upon dropping them their durability would become their new id, creating nulls. This could also be obtained for a short time after the Crystal Hollows update was released, through fishing in lava.	It takes the appearance of a standard pink and black null block upon the updating of the item.
null Fishing Rod	Safe	1-63 (most commonly 16)	Obtainable before the fishing update, where damaged fishing rods could be fished up, and upon dropping them their durability would become their new id, creating nulls. This could also be obtained for a short time after the Crystal Hollows update was released, through fishing in lava.	It takes the appearance of a standard pink and black null block upon the updating of the item.
Petrified Oak Wood Slab	Safe	COMMON	Obtained through methods of changing the id of blocks, such as the Day/Night Saver glitch.	Also known as an Alpha Slab, this block has the durability and preferred tool of a stone slab, but looks like a wooden slab.

Banner	Outdated	A banner created through mining banners in underprotected Dark Auction lobbies, or mined off of the Oringo stand that would spawn on your private island Oringo was first released.
Placeable Backpack	Safe	You can place placeable backpacks within other backpacks, but you can't store items within them. They were duped enough to become common within the community. They used to only come in the color purple, but eventually methods for other colors were developed.
Empty Rune	Safe	Could be obtained while patch 0.7 was being rolled out. It would drop in extremely large quantities from mobs, causing the player's game to crash. Now they can only be obtained through trading with other players. When playing the Stranded gamemode, Minions have a chance to spawn a Runic mob. If the minion kills that mob, the resulting rune in the storage of the Minion will be an Empty Rune.
Skeleton Skull	Safe	This item can be obtained through a few different methods. It was first made through an obscure glitch with furniture, but it was patched. The method that works currently is to place down any head item, and place an anvil in the same block as the head. You will have to be far enough away that the anvil can be placed, but close enough that the anvil will lag back and not delete the head item.
Bedrock	Safe	During the release of the Dwarven Mines update, you were able to mine the bedrock found at the center of your island. This was patched decently quickly, but by that time many people got their hands on this item.
Salmon Hat	Safe	When SkyBlock first released, it was able to be crafted. This was removed later on, but many people have it still. It comes with Depth Strider I, Respiration I, and Aqua Affinity I, and attempting to replace them with higher level versions of these enchantments wouldn't work, causing the enchantments to revert back.
Placeable Brews	Outdated	Extremely rare, only 3 are currently known to exist. Placeable upon release, for a short while.
Spawn Egg	^{[More Info Needed]}	Obtained by dropped Super Enchanted Eggs in a glitched Bazaar lobby, causing them to revert to a normal spawn egg.
Lucky Block	Outdated	These were obtained during the 0.7.6 update with Oringo, when event stands spawned on private islands. These are only obtainable through trading currently.
Beacon Block	Safe	Obtainable early on in SkyBlock's release, where a Saving Grace, Day Crystal, or Night Crystal could be used in place of a nether star to craft a beacon. This was patched, though another method popped up later on. You were able to remove barriers from the Ender Chest display item feature, allowing for the creation of many of these items.
Tagless Items	Outdated	Items without rarity tags, most obtained through the vanilla crafting menu, though other methods exist. These items will revert to their skyblock versions upon being dropped.	(example)	(example)
Carrot	Outdated	Using the inventory crafting menu, the normal recipe for a carrot on a stick produces a carrot on a stick, but with the name "carrot". It is still possible to perform this glitch.
Written Book	Blacklisted	Obtained by crafting a book and quill in the inventory crafting menu and writing/signing the book. Reverts to an unwriteable book and quill when dropped. Written books are blacklisted, and they will be deleted from your inventory periodically.
Coin Head	Outdated	Iron Coins are obtained through fishing on your private island with a hopper, and having a hopper pick up the coins rarely caught through fishing. Diamond Coin items were obtained through killing bats spawned by the Roofed Forest Island and having the coins drop in hoppers. When held in your hand or held when changing servers these items will change to the name "null" and gain a rarity tag. The method for obtaining the golden coin heads is unknown.
'Carrots' Carrot	Safe	A Carrot that hasn't updated to the Carrot name. It was only obtainable through the first Jerry Event as a drop from Frosty the Snowman.
'Potatoes' Potato	Safe	A Potato named "Potatoes" rather than "Potato". This item was obtained by placing the Potato Spreading within a minion for the first couple hours of the item existing. This item does not update when dropped, and can't be sold to the bazaar or the npc.
Sleeping Eye	Safe	Obtained when a bug takes place and does not replace your Summoning Eye. Can still be obtained by placing a Summoning Eye and putting the Sleeping Eye(s) in you Ender Chest/Storage before the Dragon spawns.
Water	Safe	It was created using bugs with the Block Zapper, and it acts differently from standard water. It can be stacked, which is not something normal water can do, and it has the SkyBlock ID STATIONARY_WATER rather than WATER.
Lava	Safe	It was created using bugs with the Block Zapper, and it acts differently from standard lava. It can be stacked, which is not something normal lava can do, and it has the SkyBlock ID STATIONARY_LAVA rather than LAVA.
Numbered Ice	Outdated	This ice was obtained from the Ice Spray Wand's attack, where the ice blocks shown could be broken to allow you to obtain these glitched items. By attacking a mob on your private island with hoppers directly underneath, you could make these glitched ice blocks. Upon being dropped they will revert into normal ice.
Cocoa Plant	Safe	This item was obtained through glitches with the Block Zapper. It takes the appearance of a seed, though the block it was obtained from was a cocoa pod.
0% Quality Dungeon Items	Safe	This item was obtained by picking up items created through the Ancient Pig's perk, Double Mob Drops. This would create an item with no quality at all, with all the base stats for that item. These are still useable and can be put on the ah.	(Example)
No-Name Grey Dye	Outdated	This item was obtained by removing the dye that appears after using the bows you get as an archer class ghost, and placing it in places like the Ender Chest or Backpacks.
Common Snowman Pet	Safe	This item was obtained from getting snowman pets in the first few jerry events. These snowman pets when taken from the pets menu would become common.	^{[More Info Needed]}	^{[More Info Needed]}

Spirit Bow (Thorn)	Safe	Items such as the Wizard's Crystal and the Redstone Key all have the NBT tag DONT_SAVE_TO_PROFILE. If this tag can be removed, you can remove these items from dungeons safely. These items fetch very high prices on the Auction House		^{[More Info Needed]}
Energy Crystal	Was able to be taken from the F7 boss room by placing it within a Personal Deletor when they were first added.	^{[More Info Needed]}
Anvil Use Items	Safe	Although Anvil Uses were removed from the game, items that had them before the patch still retain them in their NBT. The anvil use numbers can be seen using mods or by viewing the item's NBT tags. Other items, created with a bug with anvils, could have anvil use numbers higher than normally possible ingame. These items could also be items not normally usuable within anvils, such as blocks or crops.

Gui Items[]

Barriers	COMMON	Barriers have been obtained through many different methods. Some of the items that can be created with this method include a "Close" barrier, an "Anvil" barrier, and a normal barrier. Barriers are blacklisted, meaning that they will be removed from your inventory every few seconds.
Frosty Snowball	COMMON	Could be obtained during the first days of the 0.7.5 Update. The Frosty the Snow Cannon or Frosty the Snow Blaster had a menu of Frosty Snowballs which could be taken out of the cannon/blaster. This menu is now removed, and this item is impossible to obtain outside of trading.
Bazaar Listed Items	Different rarities	Obtained During the Bazaar shopping update roll-out that added new items to the Bazaar. For a brief period of time, players were able to collect and drop items from the Bazaar's menu.
Nether Star	LEGENDARY	A nether star that was obtained the same way as above; by dropping a catalyst from Bazaar in a glitched lobby. It was also able to be obtained from the Starlight Wand by using the ability and unloading and reloading the chunk the stars were in.
End Portal Frame	COMMON	Obtained through a glitch involving the usage of touchscreen mode at the Pedestal. It was also able to be obtained through using the pickaxe ability "Pickobulus" on End Portal Frames placed by the End Island or created through glitches with the Teleport Pad. There are 3 other variants, the non-enchanted 'Apply a Rune or Fuse Two Runes', and the enchanted variants being 'Attempt to fuse Runes' and 'Combine Items'.
Menu Glass	COMMON	Still obtainable in the crafting menu. More of this can be obtained by double clicking on it while within the crafting menu.
Cooked Mutton	COMMON	Obtained by dropping an enchanted cooked mutton from the bazaar in a glitched lobby. This was only possible in certain glitched lobbies.
GUI Papers	None	Obtained through a glitch using the skyblock menu. The 5 variants are 'Enter reason', 'Enter Guild Name', 'Enter username', 'Search', and 'Input Username'. There are also other variants in other languages.
Reforge Anvils	None	Obtained through glitches within various menus.
Accept Trade Wool	None	Obtained through a glitch with the old trading menu.

Blacklisted Items are items that were not intended to exist and are periodically removed from all player inventories. These items are blacklisted by Hypixel and cannot be obtained by normal means. Possessing or creating blacklisted items is not punishable unless used maliciously or to gain an unfair advantage.
