Goblin Egg is an UNCOMMON or RARE item that can be obtained from Goblins in the Dwarven Mines.

Obtaining

The Goblin Egg can be dropped from three different types of goblins:

• Goblin (RARE, 1%)
• Fireslinger (UNCOMMON, 2%)
• Knifethrower (RARE, 0.5%)
• Flamethrower, Creeperlobber, Murderlover (RARE, 0.6%)

The drop rate of the Goblin Egg is affected by ✯ Magic Find and the player's Bestiary levels for that mob.

Usage

This item is throwable and has a 1.93% (29/1500) chance to spawn a Golden Goblin and a 0.07% (1/1500) chance to spawn a Diamond Goblin when thrown. It can be also used as a Machine Fuel, adding 2,000 Fuel.

• Golden Goblins will spawn from Goblin Eggs thrown on a private island, but will only drop coins/Mithril. They will not give Mithril Powder outside of the Dwarven Mines.
  • Goblin Eggs thrown on someone else's island will not spawn a Golden Goblin, but will consume them, causing them to be lost forever.

Goblin Omelette

 99x Goblin Eggs can be used to forge  1x Goblin Omelette at The Forge.

Amber Crystal

Main article: Gemstone Crystals § Amber

3  Goblin Eggs are used to obtain King's Scent Potion Effect from King Yolkar, which is used to obtain the Amber Crystal.

Trivia

• The first time spawning a Golden Goblin from throwing an egg will grant the "The Next Generation" Achievement.
• Throwing these contributes to the "Egg Thrower I" Hypixel achievement.
• The lore is a reference to the saying "which came first, the chicken or the egg?"
