Gold Ingot is a COMMON resource obtained from mining Gold Ore at the Gold Mines, Gunpowder Mines, or mining Pure Gold at the Dwarven Mines or Crystal Hollows or from Gold Minions. It can also be bought for 6 coins from the Mine Merchant or for 5.5 coins from the Gold Forger.

Mining[]
Mining Gold Ore using a Pickaxe with Smelting Touch will drop a Gold Ingot. Gold Ore can be found and mined in the Gold Mine and the Gunpowder Mines.
Pure Gold[]
Pure Gold will always drop Gold Ingots even without Smelting Touch. A Pickaxe with a Ⓟ Breaking Power of 3 or better is required to mine it.
Pure Gold is located both in Dwarven Mines' ⏣ Royal Mines and Crystal Hollows's ⏣ Mines of Divan. It drops 
5x Gold Ingots. It is affected by 
Mineral Armor, Compact and the Efficient Miner Heart of the Mountain perk.
It takes the appearance of 
Block of Gold.

A Gold Minion with the Auto Smelter Minion Upgrade will produce Gold Ingots.

Usage[]
Gold Ingots are used to upgrade Gold Minions, craft an early game weapon named Cleaver, craft Enchanted Gold Ingot and brew Absorption potions. Its enchanted variant is also used in a lot of Wolf Slayer recipes.
