Gold is a COMMON resource obtained from mining Gold Ore at the Gold Mines, Gunpowder Mines, or mining Dwarven Gold at the Dwarven Mines or Crystal Hollows or from Gold Minions. It can also be bought for 6 coins from the Mine Merchant or for 5.5 coins from the Gold Forger.

Collecting gold ingots increases the player's gold ingot collection, which grants useful items and perks upon collecting certain amounts of gold ingots.

Mining[]
Mining Gold Ore using a Pickaxe with Smelting Touch will drop a Gold Ingot. Gold Ore can be found and mined in the Gold Mine and the Gunpowder Mines.
Dwarven Gold[]
Dwarven Gold will always drop Gold Ingots even without Smelting Touch. A Pickaxe with a Ⓟ Breaking Power of 3 or better is required to mine it.
Dwarven Gold is located both in Dwarven Mines' ⏣ Royal Mines and Crystal Hollows's ⏣ Mines of Divan. It drops 
5-7x Gold Ingots. It is affected by 
Mineral Armor and Compact, however the Efficient Miner perk, only works in Royal Mines.
It takes the appearance of 
Block of Gold, 
Cyan Hardened Clay or 
Gray Wool that is next to Gold Block Dwarven Gold.

Usage[]
Gold Ingots are used to upgrade Gold Minions, craft an early game weapon named Cleaver, craft Enchanted Gold and brew Absorption potions. Its enchanted variant is also used in a lot of Wolf Slayer recipes.
