The Griffin Pet is a  Combat Pet that can be obtained from Diana when she is the active Mayor. It increases the difficulty and rewards from the Mythological Ritual mobs based on its rarity.

Obtaining

The Griffin Pet can be obtained by buying it from Diana when she is elected as Mayor. When purchased from Diana, it will always be the COMMON rarity.

The Griffin Pet can only be upgraded using a  Griffin Upgrade Stone. The stone upgrades the Griffin to the same rarity as the stone, however, the Griffin can only upgrade one rarity at a time. Using a  Griffin Upgrade Stone that is one tier above the current Rarity of the pet will upgrade its rarity once.

Trivia

• Because of its high stats, Legendary Constitution perk, and King of Kings perk, the  Griffin Pet used to be one of the best damage pets in the game. However, this is no longer the case after the strength nerf, and is far outclassed by other pets such as  Lion Pet,  Ender Dragon Pet and  Tiger Pet.
• It's the only pet in the game to grant abilities at UNCOMMON and EPIC instead of at RARE.
• It's one of the six pets that have 4 abilities at LEGENDARY, the others being the  LEGENDARY Pig Pet, the  LEGENDARY Rock Pet,  LEGENDARY Golden Dragon Pet, the  LEGENDARY Phoenix Pet and the  LEGENDARY Bingo Pet.
• It's one of the five pets in the game that cannot have its rarity upgraded by Kat, the others being the  Grandma Wolf Pet,  Wisp Pet,  Kuudra Pet and  Bingo Pet.
• A common scam is to recombobulate an EPIC  Griffin Upgrade Stone to trick players into thinking that it is a LEGENDARY rarity stone, however it doesn't upgrade a Griffin to LEGENDARY.
• King of Kings is likely a reference to the mythological roots of the Griffin; in Persia, the kings are referred to as Shahanshah, which means King of Kings.
• This is one of six pets to grant flat ✯ Magic Find, the other pets being the Megalodon Pet, Mole Pet, Goblin Pet, Black Cat Pet and the Golden Dragon Pet.
