Warning! People have been known to recombobulate Griffin Upgrade Stones in an attempt to scam people. Please note that recombobulated stones won't upgrade the Griffin Pet to the recombobulated tier and look carefully for symbols on the sides of the rarity. The Griffin Upgrade Stone is the only way to upgrade the Griffin Pet, due to it being one of the two pets (the other one being the Grandma Wolf Pet) which cannot have its rarity upgraded by Kat. It has 5 variants (including the Base form). The Uncommon variant is used to upgrade the Griffin Pet to Uncommon, and the Rare variant is used to upgrade the Griffin Pet to Rare and so on. Please note that you have to use the Upgrade Stone on a Griffin of the previous rarity, so the Rare one has to be used on an Uncommon Griffin and the Epic has to be used on a Rare one. A recombobulated upgrade stone cannot upgrade a Griffin to its upgraded rarity.
Right click a Griffin Pet while it is equipped (the floating head) with the Griffin Upgrade Stone in the hand to upgrade it to the rarity that the stone is. The stone must be the tier directly above the current pet's rarity. Note that a recombobulated stone will not be able to upgrade a Griffin to its upgraded rarity, only its base rarity. The stone will be consumed on use. Higher rarity Griffin Pets allow the player to find stronger Mythological Creatures during Diana's Mythological Ritual.
