What happens when a player attempts to mine a minion-produced block?

In the event of mining a block produced by a minion, the block sustains damage equivalent to the mining speed with each tick. Upon sufficient damage, the block breaks, yielding an item and briefly transforming into bedrock. Instant mining occurs if the mining speed is sufficiently high. Repeated actions by a minion can result in a slight decrease in its efficiency.

What was the glitch associated with Hard Stone Minion-spawned blocks?

A glitch with the Hard Stone Minion allowed its spawned blocks to be mined faster than intended. Now, these blocks do not yield any drops and a message appears when players attempt to mine them, stating 'Drops from custom blocks are currently disabled on private islands!'.

Description

Hard Stone Minions are unlocked at Hard Stone I and can be placed on the Player's Island. Minion produced blocks don't drop anything currently, and will say "Drops from custom blocks are currently disabled on private islands!" if a player attempts to mine them. This is likely because of a glitch that allowed minion-spawned Hard Stone blocks to be mined much faster than intended.
