This ring is one of the couple rings that do not have a talisman version preceding it, however directly skipping to the ring tier. Other rings with the same property are the Devour Ring, the Shady Ring, the Bait Ring, the Emerald Ring, and the Catacombs Expert Ring.
Since the Dwarven Mines update, each player is given permanent Mining Fatigue on public islands, but instead of the haste being overridden, the player is given 50 Mining Speed.
