The Horse Pet is a craftable Combat Mount unlocked at Leather IX. The crafting recipe requires  8x Enchanted Leather and an  Enchanted Egg or a  Super Enchanted Egg. This and the  Skeleton Horse Pet are the only pets on which a  Saddle can be applied.

Trivia

• The  Saddle can be used as a pet item on the Horse Pet. It increases its speed by 50% and its jump height by 100%.
• The Horse Pet could be used to glitch through walls, for example, the Superboom wall in the Park. This method is no longer popular, and  Superboom TNT is used instead. This is now patched.
• The pet's movement is made server-side, which can create input lag with a higher ping.
• The Horse Pet is the only pet in the game which is directly a downgrade from another pet, this being the  Skeleton Horse Pet, with halved stats and weakened abilities.
• There is a glitch where you can craft the Horse Pet (not quick-craft) without having unlocked the recipe if you use a  Super Enchanted Egg.
