The player has a 0.767% base chance to fish up 16xHot Bait when fishing in water. This can be doubled to yield 32xHot Bait with the BlessingEnchantment or when using Blessed Bait.
When on the Crimson Isle, this figure is raised to a 2.3438% chance but is further decreased on the Winter Island to 0.4839%.
Hot Bait can be kept in either the player's inventory or Fishing Bag. When casting a Fishing Rod, a Hot Bait will be consumed to grant a +5% chance to catch Trophy Fish. The effects last until the player reels in their rod.
