The Island NPC is a RARE item that can be placed on a player's ⏣ Private Island, and are entirely decorative. When guests visit, they can interact with the NPCs, which speaks their dialogue into their guest's chat.

Island NPC can be purchased from 
Amelia for 50,000 coins, once players are 
Social V (5).
Usage[]
When placed on a player's ⏣ Private Island, the owner can right-click to open the GUI. From there, several options can be set.
Select NPC Type[]
This option allows for selection between available Minecraft mobs, and the unique "Player" type. Players can pick between the following NPC types:

Unique NPC Options[]
If island owners select either the "Player", "Villager" or "Pig" mob type, an additional option appears underneath "Select NPC Name".
For "Player", this option allows island owners to pick from one of 51 unique skins created by the Hypixel server. Players cannot select their own custom skins for this purpose. Below is a list of all of the skin's names.

For "Villager", this option allows island owners to pick from the five villager professions, changing the color of the Villager's clothes.
For "Pig", this option allows island owners to toggle saddle on the pig's back.
Additonal skins can be achieved by using 
Ditto Skin to capture a player's skin.
Select NPC Name[]
This option allows for renaming of the NPC. The name must be short enough to fit onto a Minecraft Sign - a maximum of 15 characters. This is always 15 characters regardless of Minecraft version, despite Minecraft now allowing signs of indefinite length.
Edit Dialogue[]
This option allows the owner to add, remove, and change the dialogue shown to island guests. Once players initialize Dialogue Mode, they are able to use Minecraft's chat function to change the text available. Island owners can see how their own dialogue will be displayed by punching/left-clicking the NPC in the gameworld.
The "/dialogue" command has 4 uses:
- "/dialogue list" returns a list of all dialogue that NPC currently has. This is also visible on the tooltip of the "Edit Dialogue" option in the Island NPC menu.
- "/dialogue add <text>" allows island owners to input the next line of text. This will simply add the text in the command into the next line of dialogue.
- "/dialogue set <line> <text>" allows island owners to change an existing line of text. The "<line>" parameter requires a number input to identify which line of text the island owner wishes to change.
- "/dialogue clear" clears all existing dialogue. This can also be done by removing and replacing the NPC.
Players can leave Dialogue Mode by right-clicking on the same Island NPC they were just editing.
The maximum allowed lines of dialogue is 100.
Color Modifiers[]
The possible colors available to Island NPCs' Dialogue.
Using the '&' symbol on an NPC's dialogue, followed by a number between '0' and '9', or a letter between 'a' and 'f' will change the color of the text immediately after the identifier. This also works for NPC names.

Trivia[]
- "Player", "Villager" and "Pig" are the only NPC types that has more options available. While many other mobs have variants in the game (like child mobs, or slime sizes)
- Only Villager professions and player skins are selectable and pig saddle is toggleable.
- Island NPCs can be used to tell the story of a players' island without the need for ugly signs! They can also be used for announcements, as it's common for popular islands to place an NPC near spawn with quick information about where you are and why that island exists.
- There is no curse filter on Island NPCs.
- The limit to the amount of Island NPCs placeable on a single island is 21. Attempting to place an NPC when this limit has already been reached will result in the spawn egg being consumed, but no NPC will appear. This means that the spawn egg will be permanently deleted.
- Players can be kicked for spam if they use the "/dialogue" command many times in rapid succession. This will evacuate them out of SkyBlock and into a Hypixel lobby.
