The Lapis Zombie mainly attacks the player like a normal Zombie, with a melee attack. Sometimes it also shoots player with a kind of lazer beam, like a guardian (it rarely does this). It seems to only attack the player in light levels of 8 or less.
Tips[]
Lapis Zombies drop the Lapis Armor, a good starter armor to grind Experience from Mining. As they spawn in large quantities, it makes it easy to get the full set.
Lapis Zombies have a 9Pray RNGesus(<1%) chance to drop an Exp Share Core. If the player gets this early on, they can get a bit of money.
Blue Dyed Leather Armor and using 
Blue Stained Glass as a Helmet. It spawns in the ⏣ Lapis Quarry section of the ⏣ Deep Caverns.
