The Lesser Soulflow Engine can be used as a minion upgrade. When it is added to a minion, the minion's output will be reduced by 50%, but the minion will produce 1xRaw Soulflow every 3 minutes.[1] This production rate isn't affected by minion speed, minion fuel, or floating crystals. Purple particles will appear above minions with a Lesser Soulflow Engine.
A single minion cannot use 2 Lesser Soulflow Engines at the same time.
If a minion with a Budget Hopper or Enchanted Hopper is full while holding a Lesser Soulflow Engine, the produced Soulflow items will be deleted.[2]
The best minion to put this item in is the Inferno Minion since the rate at which this item produces Soulflow is static and does not depend on the speed which the minion produces items. Because the Inferno Minion is the slowest minion in the game, it would fill up the slowest, leaving more room for Soulflow instead. A Tier 1 Inferno Minion, which has an action time of up to 1102 seconds at tier one with no perks and other Inferno minions, may be used to sacrifice Crude Gabagol production for maximum Soulflow storage.
The Vampire Minion is the second slowest Minion in the game, making it a good alternative.
