The player has a 0.767% base chance to fish up 16xLight Bait when fishing in water. This can be doubled to yield 32xLight Bait with the BlessingEnchantment or when using Blessed Bait.
When on the Crimson Isle, this figure is raised to a 2.3438% chance but is further decreased on the Winter Island to 0.4839%.
Light Bait can be kept in either the player's inventory or Fishing Bag. When casting a Fishing Rod, a Light Bait will be consumed to grant a 25% increase in weight for rare Sea Creatures during the day. The effects last until the player reels in their rod.
