Tips[]
The Mastiff set can still deal impressive amounts of damage when paired with the Shaman Sword, as well as its upgraded form, the Pooch Sword. The armor gives massive amounts of health and both swords increase in damage with every 50❤.
This can also help with the Trials of Fire introduced in v0.7.4, where the player has to endure a certain amount of ✷ True Damage per second for ten seconds.
Trivia[]
Mastiff Armor, when paired with an old bugged version of the Blue Whale Pet, could grant the player upwards of 80,000 ❈ Defense.
The ability of the Mastiff Armor's name, Absolute Unit, is based on the absolute unit meme, in which objects or animals of large size would be called an absolute unit.
Despite the name of the armor, the armor set's appearance isn't based off an actual mastiff, but rather the Shiba Inu dog breed, most notably known for the Doge meme.
Inside of dungeon, before the Changelog/2020/November 17, it was possible to get upwards of 100 million EHP using a Rare+Blue Whale Pet in dungeon due to each piece giving only -10000 defense. Since then, it has been changed to give -1,000,000 defense per piece. Now it still pairs well with a Legendary Blue Whale due to its ability, Archimedes, which gives 1.2x ❤ Health.
When the Healer ability Wish is used with this set on, the high absorption health carries over when swapping to another set, and is affected by ❈ Defense. This technique is used to gain high amounts of extra health.
