☘ Mining Fortune is a Gathering Stat that increases your chance to get multiple drops from mining ores, and can be increased with your 
Mining level and HotM upgrades. It functions similar to many other stats, in that every 1 of it you get it adds an extra 1% chance to get double drops. Anything above 100 ☘ Mining Fortune gives a chance for triple drops, anything above 200 ☘ gives a chance for quadruple drops, etc.
Mining Fortune does not apply when mining Stone, but it does apply when mining Cobblestone. Furthermore, it does not normally apply to non-ores such as Sand, Red Sand and Mycelium, except through sources such as the 
Snail Pet and the 
Glossy Mineral Armor.
Increasing Base Mining Fortune
Players have 0 ☘ Mining Fortune by default. It can be increased by:
- Leveling
Mining, which gives (+4 ☘) every level (for a max of +240 at level 60)

Reason: Dwarven Handwarmers are better than Amethyst Gauntlet, Refined Dark Cacao Truffle, Magic 8 Ball, Divan's Powder Coating, Lustrous Reforge, Fortunate Festivity Carnival Perk, HotM perks have changed, need to remove the old Bal Pet 15% buff from the totals.By getting all of the followings, it is possible to achieve a total of 2652.7 ☘ Mining Fortune, giving 100% chance to get 27 times more drops, and 34.7% chance to get 28 times more drops.
