A Minos Inquisitor has a chance to be spawned from digging up the 2nd or 3rd Griffin Burrow in a chain. A Mythological Creature has a 0.4% chance to be spawned by killing a Mob.
The Minos Inquisitor reduces the player's total stats by 10% for each hit the player lands on it, up to a 40% stat reduction. The Minos Inquisitor gains a 6%❁ Damage buff for each second it's alive, stacking up to 600%. The Minos Inquisitor summons lightning on the block which the player is standing on, dealing more damage based on its current damage buff. At 600%, the Minos Inquisitor despawns, thus failing the Griffin Burrow challenge.
Strategy[]
The Minos Inquisitor's speed and damage is drastically reduced when compared to its more-common counterpart, the Minos Champion. This allows the player to combo the Inquisitor into water or a corner much easier, leaving it more vulnerable to strings of attacks. Caution must be taken as comboing it into a corner still leaves you vulnerable to his lightning attack which can easily kill you. Splashing the Inquisitor with slowness potion reduces its speed to almost zero. The primary challenge comes from the stat reduction the Minos Inquisitor applies. Healing will be drastically reduced, so it is important to combo the Minos Inquisitor, otherwise you will never be able to out heal its damage even if using an Ornate Zombie Sword or similar healing item.
If the player has a difficult time fighting Minos Champions, forming a party with other players who own LEGENDARYGriffin Pets can ease the tension of killing the Inquisitor. Remember, the challenge only lasts for 100 seconds, so party members must navigate quickly to help you. A Sword of Revelations or Daedalus Axe is strongly recommended along with Necron's Armor or Superior Dragon Armor. The Daedalus Axe is recommended over the Sword of Revelations because increased damage taken from using the Sword Of Revelations makes the fight significantly more challenging. Necron's Armor is recommended over Superior Armor because of it's superior damage. A high ⚔ Bonus Attack Speed is also recommended to enable easier comboing.
Trivia[]
A Runic Minos Inquisitor has 160M❤, which used to be the non-dungeon mob with highest ❤ Health, before that position was taken by the Voidgloom Seraph.
Before an emergency game update involving the Minos Inquisitor during the second Mythological Ritual event, the mob boasted an impressive 50 million HP and reduced the player's damage by up to 80%, making this nearly impossible to kill within a 100-second time spawn.
When digging up an Inquisitor, the alert message in chat erroneously claims that the player dug up a Minos Champion instead.
