Null (stylized as null) is the title Hypixel SkyBlock gives to an item that doesn't know its identity. Some nulls take the appearance of a block with a missing purple and black texture. Some nulls can crash your game when interacted with in older versions.
Most null items will now be deleted upon changing servers, even when placed within your Ender Chest or Backpacks. Others will be deleted upon dropping the item through indirect means, such as through breaking an item frame or chest they are stored in.

Notes
- Some nulls such as null Anvils get removed from the Auction House to prevent players from crashing, making it possible to bid on item called Nothing.
- Null items serve no purpose in Hypixel SkyBlock, but they make nice trophies to keep with you.
