The Prison of the Bereft is a location found on the Hub Island while 
Aura is in office. It is a metal cage where players are sent to for a duration of 5 minutes for committing various offenses.
When a player is sent to prison, a message appears for everyone in the lobby:
Players are sent into the cage by doing one of the following:
- Punching a
Goon - Using the
/killauracommand - Sending "Aura Sucks", "Aura Bad", "Screw Aura", or similar in the chat (includes profanity)
When sent to the Prison of the Bereft, the following text displays:
- INSOLENT!You have been sent to jail for 5m.
While in prison, the player cannot warp anywhere and the /killaura command is disabled. Additionally, throwing 
Ender Pearls and summoning Pets are disabled.
Prison Break[]
After the first Minister Election ended, [YOUTUBE] im_a_squid_kid was placed in jail instead of becoming Minister. A 
Corrupt Goon appeared in the basement of the ⏣ Hexatorum to sell a 
Rusty Spoon that could be used to participate in breaking the cage. Once the Prison of the Bereft was broken, players could no longer be jailed.
Prison Reconstruction[]
At the end of the second Minister Election, the Prison of the Bereft was repaired. It swapped from wood to metal and placed 3 Guard Goons and a Judicial Goon around it. This allowed players to be jailed again; in addition, [MVP] Confused_Goon was placed in the jail.
Following the eighth Minister Election, 
SnowflakeKiwi was imprisoned for attempting to remove the Work Smarter perk.
Trivia[]
- Once Candidate Aura was elected, a Goon was seen building the cage block by block until completion.
- If a player attempts any of the actions that sent them to jail again while their sentence isn't over, they are sent back to jail and the timer reset.
- It was possible to escape the Prison of the Bereft in multiple ways, such as using an Ender Pearl or Horse Pet/ Skeleton Horse Pet. However, the game still classified the player as imprisoned. If the player warped away from the Hub Island, they were sent back shortly after.
- While Aura and her Goons are present on Alpha Hypixel Network, the Prison of the Bereft is not.
- Bereft means 'lacking in something'.
