Redstone Pigmen are neutral as long as players don't attack them or have less than 64xRedstone in their inventory. If one player attacks the Pigman or has more than one stack of Redstone in their inventory around a Redstone Pigman, they will become aggressive to all players around. This effect will notify you when you get a message in chat informing you that the pigmen are angry at you for taking their redstone, as well as displaying fire particles around them. Provoking a single Redstone Pigman will also provoke all others around, causing them to attack the aggressor. They deal 75❁ Damage on hit.

Redstone Pigmen have a 9Pray RNGesus(<1%) chance to drop an Exp Share Core and Brick Red Dye. If the player gets this early on, they can get a bit of money.
Although they hold a Pigman Sword, their ability to shoot out Burning Souls was removed in an unknown update.
When playing Hypixel Skyblock on Minecraft 1.16+, Redstone Pigmen have the appearance of Zombified Piglins. They used Piglin sounds, however.
