Ryan is an NPC located in the Dark Thicket. They task the player with completing the Trials of Fire.

Trials of Fire takes place at the Campfire.
Ryan is the leader of the campfire cult, where in order to join their cult, you must pass the Trials of Fire. In the Trials of Fire, the player must survive burning in a fire lasts 10 Seconds, doing varying amounts of ✷ True Damage depending on the level.
The player gets the Campfire Initiate Badge and becomes a member of the campfire cult after passing Level II. Every time the player survives the 10 seconds burning in the campfire, Ryan will upgrade the badge by right-clicking him with the badge in the hand.
Trivia[]
- Ryan seems to be a reference to the NBC sitcom "The Office" named after Ryan Howard, a main character on the show. The Trials of Fire accessory has a tag on the bottom that says "Fire guy!" in quotes. Ryan Howard once started a fire in The Office and was nicknamed Fire Guy.
